Setting All This Up
So! After doing a bunch of reading, and figuring out how HTML and CSS works, I've got this how I want it. I also did some pixel art for the favicon :3
Doing all this has been pretty fun! It feels like some element of childhood that I missed out on. I was too busy playing Club Penguin to make a website XP
EDIT: Figuring out how to get the posts array working with Zonelets was really frustrating. bleh
How am I doing today then? Uhhh. Other than doing this, on the front porch with the sun roasting my legs, I've been watching fun youtube videos, researching remote jobs, and making a quick meal. About that 2nd one btw, does anyone know how to do that and not have it be a waste of time or a selling of soul? All I've had before are in-person entry-level jobs; the equipment room at my uni's gym, and as a teacher's aide. Those were good but I can't afford to go back to school just to get one of those jobs back. I also wasn't prepared at all to still be in America at this point ;-; I was supposed to fly thousands of miles to my wife, and move in with her, but everything just kinda imploded. No job means no way for us to sustain ourselves. Remote work would be something I could keep doing regardless of where I end up at, but there's seemingly nothing that matches my skills.
Every remote job I've found so far sucks ass. I could be an "influencer" and make bank by shilling a bunch of weird products on tiktok or something, but I think I'd rather eat rocks for a living. I can do voice acting, but I don't have much of a portfolio; that one's probably my best bet actually, anyone know where I can get a foot in the door with that? I was gonna just voice over deltarune cutscenes and hope someone gets interested in it, but if you've got ideas, let me know :)
Last big thing I saw was copywriting. Despite the name, it seems like all you do is write ads. Boring but probably a steady job.
I'll leave yall off with a song I like. (YouTube link) It's "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. I randomly started getting into them and really dig their stuff! I'll admit I don't know too much about them though, but that's bound to change. Have a good one yall :3
